Today is National Brandy Alexander Day. While I prefer a little more cocktail in my cocktail, an occasional ice cream drink brings out the girl in all of us.
1-1/2 oz. brandy
1 oz. dark creme de cacao
scoop or two of ice cream
dash of nutmeg
Blend well in your blender, serve in a stem glass.
And to that other Brandy Alexander, the one I met on a super secret spy mission to a ranch in Nevada - well, happy day to you too, my dear!
